If you want to help but aren't in the position to adopt a dog, you can sponsor a dog.  The dogs in foster care need ongoing medical as well as just basic care.  And even Chase, who was recently adopted, needs eye ointment in his eyes twice daily for chronic dry eye.  Because he is a senior who has medical issues (he also has two fistulas from the removal of his canines and will need antibiotics periodically), JOMDR hopes to help with his ongoing medical needs for the rest of his life. Our goal for the seniors is just to find them amazing retirement homes and if we can  continue to help them, we will.  If you are interested in sponsoring a dog, just go to our Paypal site and check the box to set up a monthly donation of $25 or more.  In the notes indicate the name of the dog you'd like to sponsor, include your email, and we will send you monthly updates on the dog you have chosen.
